Gérard Gallet (1934-1999) is a French decorator. When he was 19, he has graduated from the Boulle school in Paris. He made his professional debut at Mobilier International (French furnitures editor and distributor founded in 1957 by Michel Schulmann), and headed the design office for several years. In 1964, Gérard Gallet opened his own agency. He was working for a private clientele, decorating their apartments and also creating furnitures : bookcases, sofas, coffee tables. The decorator also worked on offices, stores and hotels projects. Gérard Gallet has created elegant decors, mixing furnitures and works of art from different periods and styles. His interiors’ works are seen as refined, sober and modern.
