BLANCHARD René

René Georges Blanchard (1932-) was an interior designer and architect. He graduated from the Boulle school in 1952. The same year, he started as a model maker in the Denis establishments. From 1954 to 1959, he worked with the interior designer Maxime Old and produced drawings and models. Between 1960 and 1965, he joined as a teacher the Lycée Technique des Arts Appliqués. From 1966, he taught at the Boule school as well as at the University Paris I-Sorbonne. In 1969, he worked as an urban planner at the National School of Fine Arts. René Blanchard is a member of the C A I M (union of designers of interior architecture and models) and of the S A D (society of decorative artists).
